Activities: Developing a pipeline in Python. The incoming sound recordings and corresponding metadata from the dialect app Stemmen van Groningen are saved in separate databases, but are jointly needed for research. I programmed a framework to make this possible, while also ensuring that the sound recordings undergo sufficient processing to able to use them in scientific research. Included a custom baseline algorithm for extracting single target words from the recording.

Activities: Assisting in several bachelor and master level courses about statistics and methodology. Furthermore provided statistical advice and support to PhD students of Hanneke.

Activities: Working with experimental data of children eliciting speech. I optimized the application of AlignTool (a tool for automatic speech segmentation) for this project in order to automatically extract speech onsets.
